The solution combined a BAC-D breathing air compressor system, continuous air quality monitoring, breathing air distribution equipment and specialist respiratory protective equipment to support safe working in demanding environments.

One of the primary applications involved welding within confined spaces where asphyxiant shielding gases were used.
