- Has the rescue method been tested in the actual environment?
- Is the equipment positioned where it can be used quickly?
- Can the response team communicate effectively throughout the rescue?
- Has casualty movement been considered properly, not just mentioned in the plan?
- Does everyone involved understand their role if conditions change?
These questions are simple, but they often reveal whether the plan is ready for real work or only ready for review.
